How To Heat Mold The ICB Orthotic
Before fitting the orthotic device ensure the patient’s shoes are in good condition. If they are badly worn, they should be replaced and any lining or insoles removed ICB Dual Density Heat Moulding orthotics are highly versatile in their application. ICB Orthotics can be custom fitted to the individuals’ foot contours.

Using Heat to make deflection in ICB orthotic
This is an amazing demonstration as the practitioner can heat and place a deflection into the ICB Dual Density orthotic and then at a later time remove the deflection. A great feature and reduces the need for practitioners to have to return to their clinic or send to an orthotic Laboratory to complete the orthotic adjustment for the patient.

Determining Subtalar Neutral Position
How to find Sub Talar Neutral STN using the ICB ALM method. The Anterior Line Method ( A. L. M. ) developed by Dr A. R .Najjarine – Podiatrist in 1995 as an extension of the Talar head palpation technique or Talo navicular method.

Rearfoot Varus – Orthotic Additions
This is the positional deformity demonstrated as inversion of the rearfoot relative to the ground upon weight-bearing in the posterior view. Non weight-bearing, uncompensated posterior view will show a varus angle between the midline of the lower 1/3 of the leg and the bisection of the calcaneus (refer to diagram). This deformity does not appear in a plaster slipper cast because the cast will only show the relationship between the forefoot and the rearfoot. The problem is not intrinsic to the foot. The problem is the inverted foot relative to the leg.

ICB Anterior Line Method (A.L.M.) technique in the Supine position developed by podiatrist Abbie Najjarine. Excellent technique when assessing Forefoot in the supine position.
